On Wednesday, March 10, EPN Board member Gwendolyn Keyes Fleming, former EPA Chief of Staff and Region 4 Regional Administrator, provided testimony at a hearing on “The Path Forward: Restoring the Vital Mission of EPA,” along with former EPA Administrators Governor Whitman and Browner among others, held by the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. The hearing focused on EPA’s mission and how to effectively meet current and future environmental challenges. Although Gwen was testifying in her personal capacity, she cited work from EPN’s Resetting the Course of EPA project, as did the Committee Chair Rep. Pallone.
