Clean Power Plan

The 2015 “Clean Power Plan” aimed to cut emissions from the electricity sector by an estimated 32% below 2005 levels by 2030. The Trump Administration proposed the “Affordable Clean Energy” rule -- a new, weaker rule to replace the Clean Power Plan. In response, EPN provided formal comments to EPA.
