In 2017, the EPA proposed to repeal the agency's 2016 final rule that required diesel engines installed in new "glider" trucks to meet the same pollution emission standards required for diesel engines in all other new trucks. EPN commented on the public health implications of the proposal and the baseless legal theory on which it rested. EPA has since removed the repeal from its calendar.
