On November 12, 2021, EPN offered comments on EPA’s strategic plan for FY2022-26, a planning document for the agency’s work over the next four years. EPN expressed support for the current draft’s recommitment to three principles articulated by former Administrator William Ruckelshaus: follow the science, follow the law, and be transparent. In addition, EPN encouraged EPA to establish more near-term action items that are consistent with Administrator Regan’s commitment to urgent priorities, such as environmental justice and climate change.
