EPN volunteer Scott Gordon, former Branch Chief and Deputy Director, EPA Region 4 (including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee), worked at EPA for 36 years in compliance and enforcement. He has extensive knowledge of water infrastructure and sewer systems, and has assisted numerous community leaders navigate EPA and understand sewage system best practices as they work to improve conditions in their communities. In the following video, Scott provides a 101 overview of sewer systems and the expertise he provided during his time at EPA and now as a volunteer on water infrastructure.
