On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, in partnership with the EPA Alumni Association, EPN conducted a virtual roundtable event with Bluefield State University, a historically Black institution, in Bluefield, WV. This event was part of our efforts to complement EPA’s objective to diversify its workforce by holding discussions with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) as well as other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). Two EPN members opened the discussion by sharing their experiences while working with the agency, and an EPA human resources administrator followed with a presentation including a tutorial on how to navigate USAJobs.
