EPN Fact Sheets: Core Programs Under Attack in the President’s Proposed FY2018 Budget

On March 16, 2017, the Trump Administration’s budget blueprint was released and threatened severe damage to health and environmental programs with a 31% cut to EPA’s budget. These programs have protected Americans for decades, but with drastic proposed cuts to staffing, outright elimination of 50 programs, and cuts to support for state programs, these protections are no longer assured. Note: These documents have been updated.
