EPN Fact Sheets: Vital Programs Eliminated or Significantly Cut in Trump’s FY2018 Budget Proposal

On March 16, 2017, the Trump Administration released its budget blueprint, which slashed EPA’s budget by 31%. This damaging proposal threatens the environment and public health through cuts to staffing, cuts to support for state programs, and a call for the complete elimination of 50 programs, which are listed in EPN’s FY2018 budget analysis. These programs slated for elimination or significant cuts have provided vital protections for this country and its people. In response, EPN created fact sheets on a number of these programs to illustrate what would be lost.

Note: Programs eliminated in the FY2018 budget total $983 million.
