On October 7, 2021, EPN sent a letter to the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention providing recommendations on the implementation of the chlorpyrifos final rule, which revoked all food tolerances for the pesticide effective February 28, 2022. EPN urged EPA to take quick and aggressive actions to implement its goal—the protection of the public from unsafe chlorpyrifos residues in food and drinking water.
