We are in an unprecedented moment of federal investment in climate and energy. Communities have the opportunity to access billions of dollars in never-before-seen funding and implement projects that will have tangible health benefits. However, as of right now, there are over $30 billion in EPA grants that have been announced but are not fully awarded, and it is vitally important that grant selectees reach agreement with EPA as quickly as possible so that funding is obligated, flowing, and implementation can begin.
In order to assist grant selectees, the Environmental Protection Network (EPN) has created general “pre-award” (the time between announcement and full award) resources for any grant program.
General Pre-Award Resources
In addition, EPN has contracted with a private consulting firm (TRC) to provide specific pre-award support to selectees of EPA’s:
- Climate Pollution Reduction Implementation Grants (CPRG Implementation)
- Community Change Grants (CCG), and
- Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund’s Solar for All (SFA).
For each of these grants, EPN and TRC are creating resources, hosting webinars, and providing 1:1 assistance.
Please reach out to info@environmentalprotectionnetwork.org if you have general questions about this work or epa-support@trccompanies.com if you have specific questions about how to get to a final award from EPA.
