On Thursday, October 19, 2023, Environmental Protection Network Executive Director Michelle Roos sent a letter to Dr. Michal Freedhoff, EPA Assistant Administrator of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention, urging the agency to complete its assessment of whether the fluorination of plastic containers by Inhance Technologies poses an unreasonable risk to human health and the environment. If an unreasonable risk is determined, we urge the agency to use its authority to prohibit the Inhance fluorination process.
