On Friday, September 5, 2025, the Environmental Protection Network (EPN) submitted comments on EPA’s proposed decision to approve registration for new uses of dicamba on dicamba-resistant soybeans and cotton. EPN believes there are significant known risks and uncertain benefits for the currently-proposed over-the-top dicamba registrations that cannot be reliably quantified or estimated for a valid risk-benefit determination under FIFRA. Additionally, the current labeling structure does not meet registration requirements under FIFRA. EPN recommends EPA deny the proposed registrations for new uses of dicamba on dicamba-resistant soybeans and cotton.
