On December 29, 2025, Environmental Protection Network submitted comments opposing EPA’s proposed revisions to the PFAS reporting rule, warning that exemptions for small businesses, articles, byproducts, and de minimis concentrations conflict with TSCA section 8(a)(7) and would significantly reduce critical data needed to assess PFAS risks and protect public health and the environment.
