EPN Urges Congress to Appropriately Fund EPA

On May 9, 2025, the Environmental Protection Network sent a letter to Congress urging them to provide at least $12 billion for EPA in FY 2026, warning that President Trump’s proposed budget cuts would severely hinder the agency’s ability to enforce environmental laws and protect public health. We emphasized the bipartisan public support for EPA funding and called for legislative language to safeguard critical programs, environmental justice efforts, climate initiatives, and scientific research.
