Michelle Montoya has ten years of scientific editing and project management experience. She worked as a manuscript editor at Nature Publishing Group, where she handled the acceptance and publication of research manuscripts in the fields of biochemistry, molecular biology and biophysics. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and earned a doctorate in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics. Her doctoral studies, conducted with Eric Gouaux at Columbia University, focused on structural studies of pore-forming toxins and their use in biosensor technologies.
Michelle lives in New York with her husband and two children.
