Sylvia Balcaceres

Sylvia Balcaceres is the Finance Operations Manager at the Environmental Protection Network (EPN), where she supports the organization’s financial management and day-to-day operations. Before joining EPN, she worked at DigDeep, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to clean water, and Paramount Pictures. Her experience spans nonprofit and corporate environments, with a focus on the financial and operational systems that help organizations carry out their missions. She holds a degree in Finance with a minor in Mathematics from California State University, Northridge.

Sylvia is passionate about climate justice and building a more equitable and sustainable future. She is excited to bring her experience to EPN in support of its work protecting the environment and public health. In her free time, Sylvia enjoys running, attending live music events, exploring her curiosity about astronomy, and visiting national parks.
