Kathy Pope serves as EPN’s Development Director and Community Outreach Manager. Kathy not only manages EPN’s development work, but also co-founded and manages our pro bono capacity-building technical assistance program to fight climate change and environmental injustices across the country.
Kathy has 18 years of editorial and office management experience. Prior to joining EPN, she worked independently with editorial clients such as Wiley Publishing, Agency Sacks, and on a paper for California’s Fourth Climate Change Assessment discussing Climate Justice. She also worked as an independent contractor for E4 Strategic Solutions, assisting on a campaign for a hydrogen fueling company in California. Previously, Kathy worked as an Office Manager and Assistant to the owner of Michael Tavano Design, where she coordinated all aspects of large interior design projects, and she worked as an Editor and Proofreader at Rubin Postaer and Associates, the largest independent advertising agency on the West Coast, for clients including Honda, Blue Cross, and American Century.
Kathy lives in New York with her husband and twins.
