Community Outreach Associate for the West Coast, Pacific Islands, and Alaska, EPA Regions 9 and 10
Jamie Zwaschka is a Community Outreach Associate with our pro bono capacity- building technical assistance program. Jamie concentrates on creating new and deeper connections between communities of color and low-income communities in EPA Regions 9 and 10, EPA alumni with decades of expertise, and other allies to provide assistance to community identified projects.
Jamie is a graduate of Whitman College with a combined degree in Sociology and Environmental Studies. She is passionate about environmental justice and environmental policy, with specific interest in PFAS. Prior to joining EPN, Jamie worked with the Environmental Data and Governance Initiative (EDGI) researching and tracking the work of Biden’s EPA, and additionally completed a service year working in social services in Missoula, MT.
Jamie enjoys exploring the outdoors, cooking, and a good podcast. She lives in Oakland, CA, and grew up in Washington state.
