The Environmental Protection Network Applauds President Biden for His Veto Upholding the Clean Water Act

In response to President Biden’s veto of a Congressional Review Act resolution that would have blocked EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers from issuing its ‘Waters of the United States’ Rule, Environmental Protection Network Executive Director Michelle Roos released the following statement:

“President Biden is making sure that the Clean Water Act lives up to its name, protecting waters that are critical to the health and welfare of the American people. In developing the rule, the Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers did their job and did it well. They listened to all stakeholders and picked a common-sense approach that protects public health and clean water while supporting agricultural and economic growth.”
