EPN Testimony: Congressional Hearing on Climate Change and Public Health

On Tuesday, April 30, EPN member Dr. Bernard Goldstein, former EPA Chair of the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (1982-1983) and former EPA Assistant Administrator for Research and Development (1983-1985) under President Reagan, provided testimony at a hearing held by the House Committee on Oversight and Reform Environment Subcommittee, focused on the public health effects of climate change and what actions Congress can take to fight this global threat.

Also on April 30, 2019, EPN member Dan Costa, former National Program Director, EPA Air, Climate, and Energy Research Program, submitted written testimony to the House Committee on Oversight and Reform Environment Subcommittee, providing his comments on the loss of EPA mission, neglect of the climate issue, and the importance of changing public opinion to bring American talent and ingenuity to bear on the climate issue.
