On June 9, 2020, EPN member Mustafa Santiago Ali, former EPA Senior Advisor for Environmental Justice and Community Revitalization, testified in front of the House Subcommittee on Environment and Climate Change during a public virtual hearing entitled, “Pollution and Pandemics: COVID-19’s Disproportionate Impact on Environmental Justice Communities.” At a time when front-line communities are under attack from multiple fronts, Mustafa provided examples of how community-driven solutions can benefit our economies, our planet, and our most vulnerable communities.
