Nominations for the 2027 Service to America Medals (SAMMIES) are open through Friday, October 9, 2026. EPN volunteers have spent their careers using science, policy, and public service to protect public health and the environment. We encourage you to nominate a colleague whose work deserves national recognition. This year, there is no time limit on when the nominated work occurred, as long as it was completed during the nominee’s federal service.
