On June 26, 2026 EPN submitted formal comments to EPA opposing the Office of Personnel Management’s proposed government-wide nondisclosure agreement, arguing it is overly broad, lacks congressional authorization, duplicates existing protections for sensitive information, and would chill whistleblowing, transparency, and lawful public disclosures. EPN urged OPM to withdraw the proposal and instead strengthen employee training and enforcement of existing laws.
