Full Circle Future, Consultant – State Landfill Emissions Data (2024→)
Full Circle Future is seeking a consultant to assess, compile, and clean state-based landfill emissions and operational data for 2024–2025 to support an update to our Waste Impact Tracker. The work will begin with a scan of all U.S. states to identify greenhouse gas inventories and landfill data availability, followed by data extraction and standardization for selected states. Environmental Policy Innovation Center, Permitting Implementation Fellow (or Senior Fellow)
We are seeking an experienced Permitting Implementation Fellow (or Senior Fellow) to lead EPIC’s work supporting State governments in permit streamlining for infrastructure, including (but not limited to) driving regulatory reform and managing the development of new digital tools for states. This role bridges the gap between policy innovation and organizational implementation, requiring an adept project manager who can navigate complex institutional bureaucracies and translate the priorities of States’ executive leadership into specific and actionable steps for both regulators and IT staff.
For at least their first 3 months, the Fellow (or Senior Fellow) will spend up to 100% of their time supporting a state governor’s office in mapping and reforming environmental permits that have been identified by the Governor’s team as an unreasonable obstacle to building housing and other critical infrastructure projects. The core of this position’s function is working with the EPIC team to quickly understand the highest impact opportunities for reform and then implementing these opportunities with the Governor’s team.

As Boston rapidly moves to large-scale implementation of climate action, the City requires a senior expert in policy, regulation, and law to implement the next generation of Boston’s climate agenda. The Director of Climate Policy serves as the Senior member of the Environment Department, charged with driving the climate agenda through regulatory strategy, legislative and legal action, and intergovernmental coordination.
