Civil Service Resilience Initiative
The Environmental Protection Network supports current and former EPA civil servants. Along with our partners, we defend EPA staff facing harassment and intimidation, work to counter attempts to traumatize the federal workforce, and assist those considering a transition to the private sector. Additionally, we offer connections with EPA alumni through one-on-one mentoring and education.
EPN Environmental Science Impact Fellowship
The EPN Environmental Science Impact Fellowship provides $50,000 in annual support to former EPA scientists or engineers, allowing them to continue their research, policy, and scientific work through EPN and our network of partner organizations. Fellows are formally affiliated with EPN and supported by a community of peers, mentors, and resources.
National Environmental Policy
EPN's national environmental policy work focuses on ensuring that EPA advances protective policies, budgets, and institutional changes, and providing litigation support to EPN partners.
Technical Assistance
EPN’s pro bono Capacity-Building Technical Assistance Program provides assistance to communities; NGOs; and state, local, and tribal agencies disproportionately impacted by environmental and health issues. EPN's network of volunteers assists organizations to more effectively and meaningfully participate in government decision-making by helping them navigate EPA, potential grants, regulatory processes, federal policies, and publicly available data to support their work.
