A More Perfect Union seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Development Associate to help power our growing fundraising program. You will be responsible for directing earned media strategy for the organization’s brands as well as building the CEO’s profile with journalists and media influencers. You will be the go-to resource for national journalists seeking expertise on voting and election issues and translate complex policy details into compelling messages and pitches. Working with EIP’s team of lawyers and analysts, the Engineer will work to reduce pollution from industrial sources through regulatory, permitting, and enforcement strategies. EIP takes legal action to clean up pollution; we publish data-driven reports that push federal and state regulators to better protect public health; and we work with frontline communities to provide the resources they need to obtain the protection of our environmental laws. The town of Somerset, MD is seeking a service-oriented, highly organized and proactive town manager/clerk treasurer to oversee the day-to-day operations of the town. The town manager/clerk-treasurer is appointed by the mayor, with the approval of the council. The town manager/clerk-treasurer is the chief financial officer of the town, who exercises the financial powers of the town under the direct supervision of the mayor. The town manager/clerk-treasurer also serves as the clerk to the council, attends every meeting of the council (held in the evening, usually twice a month), and keeps a full and accurate record of the proceedings of the council.

AWS is an environmental consulting firm located in Great Falls, Montana. Wildlife Conservation Network (WCN), a rapidly growing conservation nonprofit supporting endangered wildlife across 50+ countries, is hiring a Rising Wildlife Leaders Manager to run its scholarship, internship, and Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders (EWCL) programs. The Environmental Integrity Project is accepting applications for Spring 2027 law clerks to join our team. This position can be either remote or in-person at EIP’s Washington, D.C. office. EIP is a nonprofit organization established in March of 2002 by former EPA enforcement attorneys to advocate for more effective enforcement of environmental laws. EIP’s mission is to protect public health and our natural resources by holding polluters and government agencies accountable under the law, advocating for tough but fair environmental standards, and empowering communities fighting for clean air and clean water. The Natural Resource Climate Justice Specialist will provide technical expertise to lead the development and implementation of environmental justice, climate resilience and/or adaptation, as well as natural resource management projects that address Tribal priorities regarding climate change and resilience planning. Co-lead the Climate Program with the Climate Resilience Coordinator to execute monitoring, adaptation, mitigation, and/or resilience efforts to reduce adverse climate change impacts on Tribal members, treaty resources, infrastructure, and ways of life.

The Director of Grants Management will design, build, and lead our grantmaking processes for all giving vehicles. They will bring deep expertise in international and domestic (U.S.) grantmaking compliance and due diligence to our small, growing, international team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Officer helps to design and execute strategies to advance the project’s goals, including influencing state rules and requirements around endocrine disrupting chemicals and enabling state and local agencies to more effectively use research to protect public health and improve state health outcomes. The Michigan Environmental Justice Coalition (MEJC), a nationally recognized statewide 501(c)3 nonprofit with a staff of 15 and a $2 million budget, is hiring an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. The role involves setting strategic direction in partnership with the Board, driving fundraising across grants, foundations, and major donors, overseeing a unionized staff, advancing policy and advocacy efforts around energy justice, air quality, and just transition, and representing MEJC with coalition partners, policymakers, and funders at state and national levels. Michigan residency is required, with Detroit or Southeast Michigan preferred, and statewide and national travel expected. The Kent Conservation District (KCD), a governmental subdivision of the State of Delaware, is seeking applicants for the contractual services position of Planner III with the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Water – Wetlands and Waterways Section. The selected candidate will serve as a key technical, organizational, and policy leader during the establishment and execution of Delaware’s new Freshwater Wetland Program. Authorized under the Wetlands Stewardship Act of 2026, the Planner III will provide critical support to Division leadership and statewide stakeholders. The position will focus on guiding regulatory development, resource modeling, and change management. As the program is established, the position’s focus will transition to policy refinement, process optimization, and alignment with state economic and permitting initiatives.

The Kent Conservation District (KCD), a governmental subdivision of the State of Delaware, is seeking applicants for the contractual services position of Restoration Coordinator with the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy. The selected candidate will coordinate habitat restoration projects funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) within DNREC, as well as with key external stakeholders representing National Estuary Programs, nonprofits, local governments, and academia. The Restoration Coordinator will manage the IIJA grants for the Coastal Program. The selected candidate will develop project selection criteria, project proposals, and project performance measures for IIJA funding that support the goals of the various state habitat and wildlife conversation plans and strategies as applicable. Collectively, these plans collate stakeholder-driven restoration and conservation goals for the state of Delaware to help protect wetland and estuarine habitat to support healthy coastal ecosystems, as well as preserve recreational opportunities.
