The EPA’s radiation program works to protect the public from radiation by developing transparent standards, researching emerging issues, monitoring airborne radiation, preparing for emergency response, and developing guidance for local government and the public. Without proper funding, the EPA would not be able to protect Americans and keep regulations and guidance up to date.
