On September 13, 2017, the House passed HR 3354, an EPA funding bill that cuts core air, water, and waste program funding by an astounding 27%. These cuts are even deeper than requested by the Trump/Mulvaney/Pruitt budget put forth in March. Some parts of the EPA budget survived mostly intact, but this hit to the core work of the agency will inflict long-term damage.
