EPA’s International Program: Catalyzing Global Partnerships to Protect U.S. Health and the Environment

Globe

The EPA’s International Program addresses global environmental issues such as air pollution, water pollution, toxic pollution, and climate change through strong collaboration with other countries and with international partners in order to preserve the health of our country’s people and environment. Without this program, the EPA will lose the ability to identify and address emerging environmental problems and engage in global efforts to solve these critical environmental problems. EPN has created this EPA International Program fact sheet to provide an understanding of the program, its important achievements, and what is at stake if this program is lost.

Note: The fact sheet has been updated.
