In May 2017, EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt formed a Superfund Task Force to make recommendations to expedite the cleanup process of the Nation’s most hazardous waste sites, among other things. On July 25, 2017, the task force presented its recommendations, and while it acknowledged the achievements of the Superfund program, many of its recommendations propose significant departures from past approaches and goals. EPN published these 4 pages of comments to address its serious concerns with the report.
