EPA Alumni Express Concerns about Possible Changes to How EPA Weighs Costs and Benefits in Decision-making

In June 2018, EPA issued a public notice asking for public input on whether the agency should change the way it weighs costs and benefits in decision-making under various environmental laws. Former EPA staff from the Environmental Protection Network and Save EPA found the proposal to be ill conceived and unnecessary and raised concerns that it could be used to undermine public health and environmental protections.
