Nonpoint source pollution has serious impacts on Americans’ health, the environment, and the economy, and without continued support to this program that improves watersheds across the country, these detrimental impacts will increase. This program’s success has stemmed from strong state, federal, and local partnerships to address nonpoint source pollution.
